A few ways I make small bedrooms feel bigger:
1. Mirrors behind nightstands add light and depth ✨ Restoration Hardware uses this trick all the time and I love the look!
My mirror is 60” x 24”. I went a little larger since my nightstand is 30” wide. I could have all gone with a mirror that’s 30” wide. I’ve also linked a vanity mirror that can be hung vertically.
2. A cozy upholstered four poster bed creates a statement without overwhelming the space 🛌 The last hotel room we stayed in in Scotland did this and I fell in love with the warm, inviting feel.
My bed is a Queen size.
3. Hang drapes wide and high to make the ceilings feel taller and keep the window fully visible when open 🪟 Best trick I’ve learned from designers!
Window treatments are from @designs_by_tania. She’s amazing and local to SoCal if you’re looking for something custom.
4. And don’t forget a large piece of art or a gallery wall above the bed. It really opens up the space 🖼️ I always love a large visual piece to help set the mood.

Sharing my Easter dress that I found yesterday at Nordstrom. This Paisley design is so gorgeous and one that you can wear from spring through summer. 🌿

It has a smocking in the back and pockets. They say the fit is true to size however, I normally wear an extra small with smocking dresses, but with this, it’s a little snug in the waist, so I went with a small.

My new blush high waist jeans are the perfect soft blush color and there’s no front pocket which gives them a clean seamless look. I’m wearing a size 25 and I’m 5’4”.
