I love this quote from Dust to Dust by Jen Wilkin. I recently finished this book and can’t stop thinking about it. Her encouragement to live a life of consequence and the reminder to number our days has me thinking about a refrain from the poem by C.T. Studd, “Only one life ‘twill soon be past, only what’s done for Christ will last.”

While the world finds aging repulsive, Wilkin reminds readers that true beauty is found in being transformed from one degree of glory to the next. This book is very helpful and I highly recommend it!

Check out one of my favorite screen free activities for kids! My kids spent hours on this air dry clay kit and used some of the left over clay for their own creations. The kit includes instruction cards with QR codes to YouTube tutorials for those who prefer to learn that way. This is a great summer activity that’s easy to clean up and inspires imaginative play!
