DATE NIGHT OUTFIT: Third trimester inspo for your next date night. I was excited to pair this together for a little lunch date last week, but I’d definitely switch out the boots for heels if it hadn’t been raining.
This black duster has been my #1 layering go-to this month. A good piece for mamas who like to look elegant yet feel a bit more covered up.

OUTFIT IDEA: Take off the shacket and you’ve got a Spring-friendly look too!

Third trimester means pampering and accommodating your growing “waistline” 🤪 Anything that squeezes your belly will feel extra uncomfortable by now, so I opt for pieces that go above or below my #babybump 🤰🏽 This skirt is a great piece for mixing and matching with t-shirts or blouses.

I tied up a cropped tee for a more flatting “bump” silhouette, but the key is long loose sleeves for that effortless, flatting fit.

Probably my favorite dress right now, this comes in white too. I wanted to try it in black first because it’s more kid-friendly (sticky hands and clumsy 10-year olds) 🤪 but I definitely plan to grab it in white too!

PREGNANCY UPDATE: 29 WEEKS

1. Sleeping already feels impossible. I am sleeping with three pillows, so tossing and turning is a feat. Everly still wakes up once or twice to be comforted at night and then I usually pee at least three times. Needless to say, I require a nap in order to feel human most days. 😫

2: Back Pain: I was having terrible back pain and sciatica last months but found a WONDERFUL chiropractor who whipped me into shape. Have been pin-free since our second session.

3: Workouts: Between the anemia fatigue, weekend travels and the kids schedules, I have found myself missing TWO WEEKS of workouts so far. I plan to resume this week.

For travel days I always reach for joggers or leggings, but this @hatchcollection #unitard works even better! I find that a lot of leggings slip down and show my skin, which is rough when hitting the road for snowy Idaho. With this one piece, I can layer up and prevent bump slips all at once. 🤪

OUTFIT IDEA: Second Trimester Earth Tones

At a certain point the only thing I want to wear are dresses and leggings. I hit third trimester in a couple weeks and my hips just keep widening, which can make denim or anything restrictive unbearable. But what’s easier than throwing on a dress and blazer? If it’s cold out, make it a heavier jacket.

I’ve also been OBSESSED with my new @storksac diaper bag which is a must have for keeping my outfits stylish, but functional. Was a huge fan of their bags back when Everly was born, but this new collection has me absolutely swooning. 🥰

ONE DRESS: 3 WAYS- LOOK ONE

The main concerns I hear about buying maternity clothes are the high prices and their short shelf life (usually about 8-9 months max.) But with a #MaternityCapsuleWardrobe you can make the most out of a few investment pieces, mixed in with a dozen or so affordable staples.

What I’m wearing:

Pregnancy Style Inspo: Not ready to show off your bump just yet? Loose layers can help the transition from that awkward first to second trimester belly pop. Monochrome pastels lengthen my body by drawing the eye from neck to toes!

BONUS TIP: SIZE UP when it works. I’m 17 weeks pictured here and am wearing a Zara knit sized up to a Medium. This will give me more wear over the next few months as my bump grows, but since it’s a straight cut, still looks good oversized right now too.

Getting in my Vitamin D. ☀️ This blazer is vintage and drapes like a DREAM. When we were kids, we couldn’t afford many school clothes, so we became expert treasure hunters of our local #Goodwill. It’s still fun for me to shop second-hand and mix my treasures with high-end staples.
