Inspired by K-Beauty (Korean beauty) @lorealskin have developed a gel moisturiser. This reminds me of Holidays for some reason, maybe it’s the fresh aloe Vera fragrance. WINTER SKIN BOOST.
As expected, my skin has started to look a little dull over winter. It happens every year so I have a few bits in my kit to help brighten and hydrate. One being The Ordinary Peeling solution mask. I used this the other night and it seemed to give me a bit of a boost. It’s a 10 minute exfoliating treatment that improves texture and appearance. It’s a bit tingly so if you have sensitive skin it might be a little too irritating but for everyone else, it’s a pretty good little product. Especially since it’s under £10!

VITAMIN C

Potency is a big deal when it comes to Vitamin C, you ideally want to be looking for a 10-20% concentration to receive the best results over a shorter period of time. L-Ascorbic Acid is an ingredient I like to keep away from UV light. When it is exposed to UV light, it can reduce the potency of the product leaving is pretty useless. To prevent this from happening, I make sure my Vitamin C is well sealed and kept in a dark place.

This one from La Roche Posey is not the strongest in potency however I really like using it on my skin.

Biolumin C Serum from Dermalogica; a high-performance Vitamin C-infused serum that work’s with skin’s own defenses to brighten and firm the complexion.
As I actually use retinol most evenings, this is something I like to apply in the morning after cleansing. With Vitamin C serums,you want to be looking for a potency if 10-15%. I have searched dermalogica a website and not yet come across this information however, I have noticed this serum contains lactic Acid (among other fab ingredients) The moisturising serum works to accelerate cell turnover, neutralise skin after oxidation and defend against harmful aggressors.
Although I have only been using this for about a week I can already see how much brighter my skin in. I will of course be using for around 6 weeks before posting a full review on my blog. So far, so good though.

The only SPF I use these days.
Protection is cheaper than a face lift and botox kids 🙌🏼 in all seriousness though, use it daily to protect the skin from sun damage & deduct fine lines.

I’m not going to lie, I look a little bit like a corps this week. I don’t know why, my hair is just meh, skin is mid retinoid dryness and generally not feeling my usual buoyant self. I have pulled out the products I know give me results. The @danielsandler Rose Glow watercolour blush is one of those products that instantly makes you look healthier. If you think that a £5.70 (30ml) doesn’t hold up to other branded foundations in longevity, colour range & coverage you are seriously wrong. This is a foundation I keep in my makeup bag and use regularly. Cruelty free, Vegan, alcohol free, oil free. It offers a semi matte finish which is great for people with a slightly oily skin. I have shade 2.0N which comes up slightly yellow toned. I’ve had my bottle for a good while now and I still go back to it a few times a week 👌🏼

DOUBLE CLEANSE || I forgot how good the @dermalogica precleanse was. Literally removes every scrap of make up. If you wear SPF or heavy makeup grab a bottle of this as your first cleanse before following up with with a active cleanser and the rest of your skincare.
This Sunday I have gone for the @merumaya exfoliating peel, Differin (retinoids) followed by the @mgc.dermaskincare CBD cream.

HYDRATE || currently on day 5 of 7 of the L'Oréal Paris Revitalift Filler Replumping Ampoules.
Each ampule is filled with pure hylauronic acid which helps replump, smooth and hydrate the skin & Vitamin B5 sheikh helps to revitalise skin.
My skin definitely feels smoother and my hydrated, especially around the forehead and orbital bona area.
I was a little sceptical to purchase these due to the fact the are £19 for essentially a 7 day product but if you have a occasion you want to go too I think thes are great to get skin looking it’s best. I think they are pretty pricey for what you get. These are something I’ll buy if I’m going away, they would be AMAZING for the a long haul flight! or going to a wedding etc...
