A lovely way to spend my 79th Birthday. I found the perfect dress to put a smile on my face as I got ready. It might seem silly but there is truth to the idea that looking good makes you feel good. I can remember events where certain pieces of clothing are still vivid parts of my memory of those events. My girlfriend Paula still remembers what I was wearing when we first met in third grade😂

Do you avoid buying sheer tops?? ⁠

I always did and now I can not figure out why I did not just buy a nude color camisole to wear under them? it seems like the logical thing to do.....but, maybe because I didn’t have one, I would always just tell myself no too sheer. Which is crazy because with the camisole under it there is really no reason. LOL Anyway it appears you can Teach an Old Dog New Tricks!!⁠

I really liked this dress but every button hole was too small. I could have snipped the end of each button hole but you never know when you might snip too far and have all the stitching around the button hole come apart. ⁠

I loved the halter neck⁠
I loved the length⁠
I loved the buttons down the front⁠

I was on the fence about the belt loop detailing around the waist⁠

Did not like struggling with the buttons.
Did not really want to cut into them.
Did not love the color of the denim as it was not distinctive.

How I style my hair!
