I grabbed these mini doughnuts from my local @walmart bakery. They had various color frosting options. I went with the classic chocolate & caramel drizzle.

I printed cat illustrations on card stock at home, cut them out, & taped them to toothpicks. It’s an inexpensive way to personalize a birthday cake or dessert for any theme.

Welcome to my hosting series, “Celebrating with Summer”, where we celebrate milestones, holidays, and “just because” things that make life feel a bit more special.

Some friends of mine recently shared how they’ve never played croquet before & since I grew up playing, I felt spring would be a great time to teach them.

I figured if we’re going to play croquet, why not make it a whole thing with dressing up, wearing a cute hat or fastener, & having a tea party? I mean, why not be extra when you get a chance to, am I right?

The day before the event, I ran my errands for flowers, ingredients for a dessert I was making, & Spindrifts (the Nojito’s are my favorite). After unloading the car & putting the flowers in water, I went outside to set up for croquet.
