✨WAYS TO UPDATE YOUR HOME: UNDER $100✨

Last week I shared my favorite ways to update a home for free and mentioned I was going to make it a series, so without further ado, let’s get to it! It’s pretty amazing with a small amount of money what you can do and make a big impact!

1) PAINT—okay, I can’t emphasize this enough, PAINT, PAINT, PAINT! A room, a wall, a door, trim, a piece of furniture, the options are endless! Whether you want moody or neutral, bright and bold, or light and airy paint can change the entire vibe of a space. And do everyone a favor and skip the internet. Just pick a color that brings joy (but samples are your friend 🙃)

2) PEEL AND STICK TILE: we used this in our laundry room and it’s still one of my favorite DIYs to date. It literally changes the look of the entire space and is relatively easy to complete! We’ve had ours two years now with zero issues. I’ve seen the backsplash tiles that also look amazing! It’s a great way to test out a look, too, before fully committing.

3) WAINSCOTING/MOULDING: a 4x8 panel of beadboard costs under $25 at Home Depot. We’ve used this in our laundry room and my younger son’s room. It’s a very beginner friendly DIY! Adding a chair rail or frame moulding can also be inexpensive depending how many walls you are completing and on the size of the room.

4) ARTWORK: I love to buy artwork on Etsy or my favorite @collectionprints! I oftentimes buy digital downloads to save on cost and you can have them printed so many places. I prefer to splurge a little more on larger pieces and prefer glicée prints! Thrift frames to save on money or sometimes HomeGoods has really awesome deals, too 🙌🏻

5) STEMS: Swapping out stems can be a fun way to add some color to a space. If you have a black thumb like me 🙃 there are so many faux stems look very realistic. It’s a great way to refresh a space each season, too!

Love these cashmere blend sweater tank! Great for work, date night, and honestly anything in between! These pants are an Aritzia dupe and I love them! Can’t speak to how they compare since I don’t have the Aritzia ones, but they are a great pant nonetheless. Very soft and comfortable, easy to dress up or down!

Wearing a S in the sweater tank and XS in the bottoms. I honestly would probably prefer a S in the bottoms but they have been sold out for so long. These work well enough!

Replaced one Casaluna bed blanket with another. This one is just a little more functional IMO. Very soft and cozy. The waffle weave one has held up fairly well over the 4 years I’ve had it, but I like that this one can be a layer and isn’t just decorative.

The reviews were mixed on this one—most saying it shrank in the wash or began pilling. I have washed and dried (in cold water and low heat) and I didn’t have any issues. That being said, it did take a long time to dry like many reviews stated 🤷🏻‍♀️

Two really great handbag options! Besides the price, the biggest difference is that the Amazon one (left) is slightly bigger and comes with a removable pouch with pockets, and the Target one (right) has a removable shoulder strap.

A side by side comparison of these two handbags. One is Amazon, one is Target. One is very affordable and one is a bit more, but still a great look for less!

I recently grabbed these mule slides from Amazon and LOVE! So cute and very comfortable. I will get so much wear out of these! Come in other colors as well.

$These were my if cured gel nail stickers after 3 weeks. They were in great condition overall. A couple of them had cracked because of me playing baseball with my son without a glove 🙃 or just some tough use. They were starting to cause my hair to snag a little bit this last week, especially as I neared 3 weeks. But LOVE these and I don’t think I’ll ever go back to a salon again after these. They are so affordable, you get a no chip look and feel for a fraction of the price and they last just as long. Plus my nails are in WAY better shape after removing. But I did use these two products from Olive & June between my dip manicure and applying these for about two weeks. My nails have NEVER been this strong or healthy!! These will definitely be a repurchased item for me!! #LTKBeauty #LTKmomlife$

These are some really great affordable planter options! Great texture on all of them. Most have more of a stone/ceramic look to them and the last one is a resin waterproof wicker. LOVE the shape of that one. I’d love to keep all of these but a couple will be going back.

Not keeping these together, but loving both these planters and these faux camellia trees are so pretty! They are a 3ft option, but a 4ft would probably be slightly better. They are weighted at the bottom to help keep them up when outdoors.

Ran into target today to grab some groceries, but my husband and I are going on a trip and I felt like I needed a couple of things for this work trip! I was strolling through the accessory section and stumbled upon these two handbags. They are so cute and I love and color so much of this first one. I love how the second one keeps things at your fingertips, but also concealed. Plus it has this really pretty gold chain! Highly recommend them both. When King the Amazon designer looks for less as well that is a higher price point, but not outrageous. I guess this is a little bit higher quality and I’m tempting back out both compare!

Since I gave my younger son’s room some love last week, I figured my older son’s room deserved some love, too! His is the second most highly pinned space on my Pinterest and for good reason! We added this board and batten to this wall and it was a simple change but made a huge impact! I know there are people out there who say accent walls are out, but I didn’t want it to go all around the room and I just love this little moment so much. Cheers to doing you 🫶🏻🥂

This is one of those colors that is so pretty but isn’t highly talked about! It’s the prettiest olive green and it suits this space beautifully. It’s Oakmoss by Sherwin Williams! I want to switch up his bedding a little bit, but those changes can come with time!

✨WAYFAIR FAVORITES IN MY HOME✨

1) These dining chairs are both from @wayfair! These mocha chairs are just 😍😍 I love the shape and color of them so much! The perfect addition! I wanted to find something I was in love with so it was over a year before I finally found these and I’m so glad I was patient!

2) This reeded sideboard has been in our house for several years now and houses lots of kids toys and crafts for easy access without the visual clutter! Love the curved edges on the cabinet doors.

3/4) These sconces are a newer purchase and I love the soft light they give off! The shade filters the light for the prettiest glow. Love that it provides up and down lighting!

5) This arched mirror is the perfect addition to our bedroom! Love catching glimpses of my bedding in it and allows me to see full outfits when trying on clothes! Plus, I love that it helps reflect natural light into our room.

6-8) Several rugs we own and love! The first in my dining room is such an amazing rug. Low pile making it easy to clean and hides dirt/stains well. Perfect for high traffic areas but is still soft! The CloudPile rug is the softest thing ever and if I can convince you to get one thing from the sale it’s this rug. 10/10, no notes!

8) Thesw floating shelves were the perfect addition to our powder room! I’m able to hide things for our guests in easy access jars and boxes plus add some faux greenery for a little color!
