I wanted to give this space a little bit of fun with the wallpaper, since it is a media room after all! Lots of storage for games, puzzles, etc. and some comfy seating for movies, gaming, or just hanging out! I loooove this sideboard so much. It is such a beautiful piece and the original inspo for this whole room. I gave the space a fun ‘Chicago’ theme with the artwork, but it could work with any city! I kept the artwork playful since it is a space to play after all!

I think people have mixed reviews about giving teachers gifts at the beginning of the year, but personally I think teachers deal with SO much bullsh*t during the year from kids, parents, and admin that I want them to know they’ve got someone on their side.

I filled this super cute bag with lots of goodies — some caffeinated sparkling water (since not everyone likes coffee) for a pick-me-up, some adatogen water for when that first week stress strikes, some healthy snacks to push through the end of day sluggishness, some treats (because who doesn’t love that?), and some lip gloss to pamper themselves and target gift card to treat themselves! Teachers—how’d I do?!

This is the last one of these before Christmas 😧 I can’t believe it’s only 5 days away! 🫣 On to this week’s favorites:

1) I got this candle last year and it smells amazinggg! Truly just like Christmas, but works during wintertime, too! 🙌🏻
2) This is THE color of the season and I am here for it! 👏🏻 I think this color looks gorgeous on any skin tone and I love the gold detailing on this bag. My favorite bag for on the go with kiddos. It fits all my essentials!
3) This little building block music box is a hit with my kiddos! They love to turn the key and watch this thing go as they listen to the Christmas music. It brings me back when I was a kid and the little music box my grandma had for the holidays 🫶🏻

My kiddos started break today and we did lots of shopping before family comes in town this weekend (hence why I’m getting around to this so late - I forgot what day it was 🤪)! Hope you all have a great weekend!

The ✨BEST✨ $20 active shorts

I’m pretty sure the only color I don’t have in these shorts is red, and you can bet the only reason I don’t is because they’re not available in my size! These shorts are the BEST! I wear them year after year and basically every day to play with my boys. They have built-in lining, pockets on each side (one side zips to keep your belongings secure), a wide waist band that cinches to fit you. I am normally a size 2 in pants/shorts and I’m wearing XS here. Also, just an FYI, all the tops are active tops from @target, too. 😉

Tops are all XS except for the yellow tank, which is size S. I prefer the XS. Bra size 32B

This new collection from Walmart is next level. SO worth the hype. I basically bought the entire collection and have zero regrets. We will use this for all our outdoor hosting and when going to other’s homes, too! The bamboo material makes my fear of breaking minimal 👌🏻

I had a really hard time choosing green or blue because the blue is also SO pretty. And y’all know how much I love my green!

✨WALMART FAVES✨

I haven’t shared this space much on the feed lately! Fun fact, this was my first “DIY” project on this page. I painted this accent wall and the rest of the room. I STILL haven’t added moulding like I’ve wanted to in nearly 3 years. It needs to happen. I’d also really love to add some beams on the ceiling. Maybe a someday project! Either way I still LOVE this space so much.

I want to do something above my desk. I know people probably have opinions about desks in bedrooms, but my husband and I can’t work at the same time so this is our compromise. Sometimes I want to put a linen magnetic board with some other “officey” type things, but I worry it will look cluttered and stress me out more. Would you do a gallery wall with some mixed frames? Would love to hear your thoughts in the comments! 👇🏻

Haven’t shared any stills on my bedroom in a long time, and it’s still one of my most asked about spaces across platforms. I still love this space and the colors so much. The print above our bed is what inspired it all. The space feels so cozy and calming!

There’s still several things to do in here. I’ve wanted to add frame moulding on the accent wall since I painted it 2.5 years ago 🙃, I want to switch out the fan, and add some curtains for extra coziness. I also have an “office” in here that I would like to add a gallery wall above. Eventually I would like to replace all the furniture in here 😬 but for now I’m enjoying it in the present. Home takes time friends. Just your Tuesday reminder!🫶🏻

✨ POV You’re looking for cute, realistic boy room inspo✨

As much as I want a cute room for my boys, I also want their personality shining through. Call me a ‘mean mom’, but I’m not a huge believer in a bedspread in their favorite characters because interests change so quickly at this age. I’d rather have a base that can continually be worked off of and adding small things like artwork, stuffies, and other decor. We used their favorite colors, characters, and things we’ve collected over the years for them (including things that were mine or my husband’s when we were kids!). They had a say in what they wanted out on shelves and dressers, and I love how they always change it and put what’s meaningful to them — after all, that’s what it’s all about 🫶🏻

If you’d ask me if I regretted adding the peel and stick tile to our laundry room the answer is nope, zero, nada, not one bit. Every time I walk into my laundry room, and I truly mean every time, I am in awe of these floors. They completely transformed the look of this space! And after a year of living with them I am happy to report there has been zero separating, cracks, sinking, anything. 👌🏻 I’ve spilled water on these and laundry powder and it cleans up with ease. Nothing gets stuck in the seams. I’ve seen people grout it to give it a more polished look, but for now I’m loving them just the way they are 🫶🏻 If you have hesitated on these I am here to tell you they are WORTH IT!
