✨A LITTLE GIFT FOR SOMEONE WHO IS ABOUT TO DO A LOT 🍎✏️ These are the gifts I’m giving to my kids’ teacher this year! Gifting is definitely in no way a requirement, but I have a lot of teachers in my life and I know how much they do throughout the year to keep my kids loved and cared for, not to mention teaching them academics and beyond. ✨WAYS TO UPDATE YOUR HOME: UNDER $100✨

Last week I shared my favorite ways to update a home for free and mentioned I was going to make it a series, so without further ado, let’s get to it! It’s pretty amazing with a small amount of money what you can do and make a big impact!

1) PAINT—okay, I can’t emphasize this enough, PAINT, PAINT, PAINT! A room, a wall, a door, trim, a piece of furniture, the options are endless! Whether you want moody or neutral, bright and bold, or light and airy paint can change the entire vibe of a space. And do everyone a favor and skip the internet. Just pick a color that brings joy (but samples are your friend 🙃)

2) PEEL AND STICK TILE: we used this in our laundry room and it’s still one of my favorite DIYs to date. It literally changes the look of the entire space and is relatively easy to complete! We’ve had ours two years now with zero issues. I’ve seen the backsplash tiles that also look amazing! It’s a great way to test out a look, too, before fully committing.

3) WAINSCOTING/MOULDING: a 4x8 panel of beadboard costs under $25 at Home Depot. We’ve used this in our laundry room and my younger son’s room. It’s a very beginner friendly DIY! Adding a chair rail or frame moulding can also be inexpensive depending how many walls you are completing and on the size of the room.

4) ARTWORK: I love to buy artwork on Etsy or my favorite @collectionprints! I oftentimes buy digital downloads to save on cost and you can have them printed so many places. I prefer to splurge a little more on larger pieces and prefer glicée prints! Thrift frames to save on money or sometimes HomeGoods has really awesome deals, too 🙌🏻

5) STEMS: Swapping out stems can be a fun way to add some color to a space. If you have a black thumb like me 🙃 there are so many faux stems look very realistic. It’s a great way to refresh a space each season, too!

Grabbed one of these clear cases at Target (under $5!) and am using it to keep in my car for all the little essentials I need as a mom!

This would be great for a tween/teen to decorate for school and store their supplies or for storing kid items during travel. I love how easy it is to see everything! They offer a larger size as well.

Went to an outdoor concert last night and the weather was quite warm, but I didn’t want to wear shorts. These pants are so lightweight and the cutest little subtle barrel! These tanks are my favorite in the summer—extremely flattering, soft, and have elastic at the bottom so they stay in place. And I recently grabbed this necklace. I love the smaller beads and this color combo, but they have more!

I have this first vase in the crème color from a previous launch and I love the shape of it! Love they brought it back in a darker color—perfect for fall and summer!

This romper is a favorite of mine. I haven’t pulled it out of my closet in awhile and when I put it on I asked myself why! It’s so comfortable, gives great support, and looks cute even with a sweatshirt or button down draped over it, too.

✨PAINT COLORS IN MY HOME✨

I realized I have several reels with these colors in them, but no photos for my photo lovers! I am a total paint nerd and have SO many paint colors saved in the notes app on my phone, plus screenshots and Pinterest photos! Anyone else this way? 😅 If you are drop your favorites in the comments! 👇🏻

These photos all in natural light with no filters (I never do!). We started with Agreeable Grey throughout our house as a base. It is the most beautiful chameleon color with warm undertones. It’s a great option if you don’t want white walls. Over the 7 years of living in our home we’ve added more and more color. Clearly I have a color preference 🤭 Looking to add some more to my powder bath for a little more dimension in there but it took 3 years for to decide how. Here’s to living in your home and not rushing the process 🫶🏻

Grabbed this bra free tank in white and this beautiful chocolate brown color. I love the cut of it—not too low and I like how the tank is cut high on the sides leading into the strap. Wearing a size S. Great for wearing as loungewear but would also be great for layering.

Trying these new eye gels! I like that they are transparent. They have good coverage and stay in place. Come with more in a container than my fun glitter ones, but I like that I can take a couple of those on vacation since they are individually packaged. Will probably mix these in every once in a while!
