I don’t own this jacket but I couldn’t stop thinking about it since I saw it last week so I came in to try it on. Gap sizing can be weird for me. While I usually wear a medium on top comfortably in most brands, often in Gap clothing I have to go down to a small. But in this case I tried the medium jacket and prefer the fit to the small. So I guess if you find Gap fits you like it does for me, then go up a size to get a similar fit.
