There was a time when Friday nights started with happy hour… & somehow ended with breakfast at 5:00 in the morning before stumbling home to sleep the day away, only to turn around & do it all over again. 😂 Those were some fun memories, but these days we’ve learned that nothing good happens after midnight anyway. 🍻 Things have definitely gotten a lot calmer. Kevin is still the more outgoing one, while I’ve somehow taken on the role of making sure we get home safely without too much damage. 🤣 He’s not much for getting in front of the camera, which is kind of funny because he’s a character who keeps me laughing (while occasionally driving me crazy). ❤️ And sharing his beer? Yeah… that’s definitely not one of his strengths. 🍺😂 Truth be told, we’ve been doing Friday nights like this for years now, & I wouldn’t have it any other way. Good food, a few laughs, a little people-watching & an early trip home. It’s simple, but it’s one of my favorite ways to kick off the weekend.
