Interrupting this unplanned hiatus to say look at this fab outfit from @riverisland i wore it for Mother’s Day Sunday lunch and it was perfect for it. I added my fave cardy from anthro (sale bargain I discovered it full price on my pre Xmas shopping trip with @wearitlikeruth ) and the tiniest bag from @katespadeny @designeroutletyork and bag charm from my fave stuffed toy company @bukowskibears (was so excited to find them in Tromso airport I bought 4 new cuddlies 😂🙈)

This @anthropologieeu dog Cardy has been my most worn item, it’s an investment (as most Anthro things are!) but it’s so cosy? The perfect car Cardy and gets compliments all the time (and the odd ‘I thought you were a cat person comment too - one can like both lol ) anyways it’s currently got 20% off too (so £102) until tomorrow, if you are looking to treat yourself now’s the time perhaps!

Ad.pr An outfit so good some Norwegian ladies to stop and tell me they loved it (I think they told me in Norwegian but the gestures indicated they liked it 😂) the tee was gifted by @notbasics and it was the perfect match for my @anthropologieeu skirt! It’s super soft and super comfy- considering this was the day we drove 4 hours from Oslo to Gothenburg it was needed! This was an impromptu stop on the way because how could we not with this glorious scenery. Truly was mesmerising I have to say.

My dream skirt. So much so when they didn’t make it in a size to fit me (6-18 size range) I altered it to fit. Literally arrived Friday and it’s now finished. Proud of myself! Perfect for my euro summer ☀️
So mine is unique as has a lace up corset style back, not a zip (luckily it’s plain back at the back with just the border around the hem so doesn’t look too silly.

I think I’m lucky in the fact I’ve never really felt the need to cover my body in the summer and I forget that not everyone feels like they can wear shorts, or a vest top or a bikini etc so I’m here to say not once when I’ve worn those things have I had anyone tell me to cover my arms/ legs/ belly. Because most people in real life really don’t care! I can’t think of any time I thought oh that person shouldn’t have their arms out! Because we just don’t. So get your body parts out (within reason 😂I have to say I do judge a booty short on any body in the wrong environment- ie doing the weekly shop lol 😂) because no one cares if you wore the vest or the shorts honestly.

I took it one step further and wore brightly coloured shorts! @relr._ always to stop chub rub! And paired it with this @riverisland crab tee. I tied it at the back with a hair bobble for more shape. The tee also comes in mini me too super cute!

So I’m on the look out for a 15th wedding anniversary dress to wear, I was walking past phase eight @lovemeadowhall and the pink dress caught my eye and the rest is history! Dress one- Esme Linen Dress size 18 (hence the fit!) goes up to a 20 online which I’ve ordered to try. £349 full price but I feel like IRL you can tell it’s a nice dress. The cut work detail, the linen mix material, the ruffle has like a mesh inside to keep it pouffy… it’s a stunner for a special occasion.
Dress 2 - turns out this is actually a cardy 🤣🤣Polly crochet cardy- size large was too small (for a dress Hahahaah) would look okay undone part way. £119 full price.
3. Matilda Floral dress- size 18 and fits like a glove! Zips up with an open back and the cross neckline meant there was room for me. Goes up to a 26 in curve (but sold out!) linen mix and the ruffles are lovely at the neckline. Bonus points for matching the Chanel 🤣 £179 full price. Not as special as dress one but still a beauty.
Not mentioned is the green tabard I messed up filming but the size large looked cute and I popped my belt over it and tucked it over. Ordered so will show when it arrives. £79 full price.

All from RI- first ‘top’ is actually a knit mini dress (18), second light feather mini cape is like a pastel big birds cousin type affair (one size) the third outfit was 👌🏼 the tee (L) is beaded too and so nice! The skirt is a beach skirt (L) and I wanted more of a Kai skirt vibe this was too holey if it makes sense! Fourth was the one shoulder dress of dreams (L)! @kakasheadoverdeals wore this on her feed recently too and looks amazing! Finally this dress (L) and bag were a dream however it’s been returned now as I tried to sit down in it and it was too tight and like sitting on a 80’s beaded car seat cover. 🤣 if they did it in a size XL it would have been perfect- another call for more sizes please! I’m still hating the fact I didn’t buy the green sequin bag or the mini beaded bag but also proud for resisting 🤣🤣

In case you hadn’t noticed, I’m having a real focus on my physical strength at the moment. I’ve learnt a lot through acupuncture which has also taught me a lot about my brain and how it is processing pain and the gym and arm workouts is a big barrier to that. So I’m turning up and steadily working on getting strong and letting my brain know I can lift a bag and not have pain in my shoulder! To encourage myself I’ve invested in new kit too of course! So here’s me after a run , red faced and ready for bed 😂😂😂

I tried all of these sports bras on and this is my ranking:
1. Can be cross back or normal. Padded straps and cups. Underwired. Failed for me as the band didnt sit flush on my body. 5/10
2.lush strap detail that can be cross back too. Padded cups and no wire. Lighter support but super comfy. Bought this in black for my next long haul flight 9/10
3. Zip up. Pad and wire free. Fixed cross back. I couldn’t zip this up! Also I hate x back so wasn’t for me 2/10
4. Best support. Padded wire free. No back clasp, adjusts with Velcro. Cross back design. Adjustable straps. This would have come home with me but it was so hard to get off! The back kept getting stuck as I tried to get it over my head! 6/10
5. Double pack. Wire and pad free. Can have cross back or normal. Slightly mono boob effect but supported well and came home with me. 9/10
