Thanks for coming along! I debated sharing this journey at all because I knew it wasn’t going to be an overnight project. I didn’t want to be stuck to a timeline or feel rushed through the process. I really thought about what I know about myself and how I’d be able to succeed in an undertaking like this. For me, that meant small, bite-sized sections I could actually live through. I didn’t want to give up my kitchen for an undefined amount of time that would ultimately double regardless. I knew I’d learn a few things along the way that would make the end result even better. And I wanted to feel joy through it all. Which meant taking it easy and not stressing about perfection or a daily online update. This is the reality of DIY when you’re fitting it into your regular life. It’s slow. Small. And oh so satisfying.
