here’s your yearly reminder that it’s actually super easy and inexpensive to make your own air-dry clay using only 3 ingredients that you probably already have in your pantry! here’s the recipe 👩🏼‍🍳 ingredients: 2 cups baking soda 1.5 cups water 1 cup cornstarch combine baking soda, water and cornstarch in a saucepan and cook over medium heat (stirring constantly) until a soft dough is formed. let cool and then mold into your desired shape! this recipe makes enough clay for several star garlands ⭐️ but you can use it for tons of other projects as well (I’ve also made fridge magnets, ornaments, and a wall sconce!) also maybe it’s just me but I swear this dough actually cracks less than the store-bought varieties as well. let me know if you try this one! and if you’ve made it this far, hi, I’m meg! 🤍 and if you’re in the market for low-consumption, handmade christmas content, then you’re in the right place. be sure to follow along for more christmas craft ideas, coming soon! huge thank-you to @woodlark for the recipe and the inspiration for the project 🤍🤍 christmascrafting
