A lesson on print mixing and transforming a straight cut shirt dress when you have curves. This @chanelofficial dress has so many things going for it… The print, the sleeve… but it is cut too straight for my shape. Luckily it has a two-way zipper, so I am able to wear pants underneath and unzip up to my waist line to open up the skirt. I do this a lot with dresses too. Unbutton them up to the waist and pair them with pants. It’s unexpected and can give you a new way to wear it. This dress has a matching belt, but I wanted to set it off with a mixed print. So, I paired it with a snakeskin print belt from @rebeccaminkoff and an old platform shoe from @naturalizer. A pop of whimsy with a fun box bag I found in my travels, and I’m off to my event!
