Saturday looks like comfort food done right — skillet potato hash from Magnolia Table Vol. 2, classic Chicago dogs loaded with toppings, and a simple bowl of leftover chips and ranch dip for good measure. Truthfully, I’m running on very little sleep. The rumble of the Lone Star Rally carried on all night, and it’s the worst it’s ever been. I’m grumpy, craving a nap, and Chad’s back on shift with half a million visitors on the island. So today, comfort food feels like the only kind of grace I can manage; something warm, salty, and simple enough to make the world feel a little quieter. What’s on your menu?
