Mid-Forties Mom nighttime routine I’m a busy mom over 40 who doesn’t have a lot of time to spend on skincare and I don’t want to waste money on unnecessary products. I don’t use a bunch of beauty products and it’s not a fancy or elaborate routine. I focus on cleansing the skin and moisturizing (something important for our mature skin). I start by removing my eye makeup with a lid scrub pad. I make sure to use either a different pad per eye, or use one side of the pad on one eye, and flip it over to use on the other eye. This way you don’t wash mascara and eye makeup all over your face when washing your face. These eyelid scrubs are one of my favorite beauty products - that I don’t hear anyone talking about! They were recommended to me by my eye doctor and I’ve been using them for 7 years! I use a gentle Neutrogena face wash at night since I’m applying my prescription Tretinoin gel after. I like to use Cerave cream and Cerave ointment for my face, lips and hands. I brush my teeth with a child’s toothbrush because I have a small mouth and I like the soft bristles. These also have a suction cup on the bottom of the brush which is convenient for standing up the brush when I’m done. I’ve been using these nose vents for about 3 years to open up my nostrils better.
