If I’m being completely honest, I half regret this tile. But, there’s a lesson here. Not because the peel-and-stick tile isn’t good. It actually exceeded my expectations. The quality is incredible, it looks like the real thing, and it did exactly what we needed while we save for a full mudroom renovation. It confirmed that marble just isn’t the right fit for this space. Between sandy feet, muddy paws, and all four seasons being tracked through this door, it only takes a couple of days before it starts looking messy. And that’s not the first impression I want people to have when they walk into our home. Honestly though, that’s exactly why I don’t regret doing it entirely. Instead of spending thousands on permanent marble, we spent a fraction of the cost and learned something really valuable before making a forever decision. That’s a win in my book. When we eventually renovate this room, we’ll be going with brick tile instead and I feel so much more confident in that choice because of this little experiment. That said, I would absolutely recommend this tile for a laundry room, bathroom, or other lower-traffic space. It’s beautiful, easy to install, and an amazing budget-friendly option.
