#Ad These are some of my @wayfair finds I’d buy again, and a few you may want in your home, too.
I’m always looking for those pieces that can shift a room without completely reinventing it, especially heading into a new season. Wayfair Verified has become one of my favorite shortcuts for narrowing down the endless options and shopping with a little more confidence. I can spend less time searching and more time finding the pieces that actually feel right for our home.
These are a few Verified finds already living in mine that I love for an easy fall refresh. Think warm woods, great texture and those little layers that make home feel especially good this time of year.
I’ve linked all of them in my LTK Shop, comment SHOP with a message to your inbox

I wanted the view when you first step inside our home to tell a little bit of our story before we even say hello. From the collected pieces, to the old mixed with new, the rooms that feel lived in, and a home that never feels too precious to actually live in.

More than anything, I wanted it to feel welcoming. Like you can drop your bag, pull up a chair and stay awhile.

If you’re creating a home that feels layered, personal and distinctly yours, follow along. And comment SHOP to shop our home room by room.
We all agreed we weren’t buying more fall decor this year. And then these showed up.

Under $20, a rich dark brown, and a woven texture that makes them look more like something collected over time than something that arrived on your doorstep two days later. They come in two sizes, work indoors or out, and add just enough fall to make the house feel ready for the season without turning it into a pumpkin patch.

Classic, understated, charming, and festive enough to make the whole family happy. That’s my kind of seasonal decorating.

I have a feeling these won’t stick around once everyone gets into fall mode, so consider this your head start. Comment SHOP and I’ll send you the link.

Consider these your throw-on polish for fall. 🤎 The pair you reach for when you want to look pulled together for a workday, dinner, school drop-off—or honestly anywhere that requires real pants without sacrificing comfort.

I’m wearing the brown in a size 4, and the fit is SO good. They hit in all the right places, drape beautifully and somehow feel far more expensive than their under-$40 price tag would suggest.

And the brown? Such a good little shift from my usual neutrals for fall. They come in a bunch of beautiful colors, too, so pick your poison.

My one piece of kitchen decorating advice? Decorate with the things you actually use.

The prettiest kitchens aren’t filled with decor for the sake of decor. They’re filled with beautiful, functional things that earn their spot on the counter: a great wood cutting board, a crock of utensils, a bowl you actually reach for, cookbooks with dog-eared pages, a pretty bottle of olive oil, a lamp that gives you that perfect glow at night.

When you choose quality, functional pieces that are also beautiful, you don’t have to sacrifice precious surface space just to make your kitchen feel decorated. The things you need every day become the decor.

It’s what makes a kitchen feel warm, collected and genuinely lived in…not overly styled or like no one actually cooks there.

It’s Friday at 5, so naturally I’m clocking out of work and clocking into the bar I built in my own house.

It was always in the plans that Friday nights would go from bar hopping in the city to pouring a drink at home in the county. Not only is the commute is significantly better, I’ve curated a space just for us.

Happy hour starts now. Want to make your own? Comment SHOP for everything you see here.
If you’re into homes that feel collected over time, not decorated all at once, you’re in the right place.

I’m always sharing the pieces, vintage finds, little details and layers that have made our house feel like ours, plus plenty of inspiration for creating a home that feels like you.

Your house can be fully furnished and still not feel finished. Usually, it’s not another big purchase that’s missing. It’s the layers…the things that make a room feel collected, personal, and distinctly yours.

A few reasons your home might still feel like it’s missing something:

You’re matching too much. Mix the wood tones. Mix your metals. Let the old table live next to the new chair. A little contrast is what gives a room depth.

Everything is new. A room needs something with a past. Vintage art, an antique side table, an old frame, a piece passed down—anything that makes it feel like your home came together over time rather than all at once.

You’re missing collected objects. The little things you pick up on travels, inherit from family, find at an antique shop, or simply love for no particular reason. Layer them into shelves, tabletops and unexpected corners. Not everything in your home needs to have been purchased specifically for that room.

You’re afraid of family photos. Put them out. Mix them into gallery walls, tuck a small framed photo onto a bookshelf, layer one into a tabletop moment. Your home should have evidence of the people who actually live there.

You’re missing the smaller layers. Books stacked under a lamp. Art leaning behind something else. Textiles, trays, bowls, objects with interesting shapes. These are often what take a room from decorated to lived in.

Everything is the same scale. Rooms need variation—something oversized, something delicate, different heights, shapes and visual weights.

You’re decorating for the photo instead of your life. The most interesting homes give you little clues about the people who live there.

The goal isn’t for everything to perfectly match. It’s for it to feel like it somehow belongs together, and like it could only belong to you.

Fully embracing the Sunday gloom over here as the kind of afternoon made for staying in, getting cozy + slowly putting the house (and ourselves) back together before another full week begins.

A little reset, a little nesting, dinner on the horizon, and nowhere else we need to be. My favorite kind of Sunday, really.

If something in our home catches your eye along the way, comment SHOP and I’ll send you everything, organized room by room, straight to your messages.

It’s the little things when you’re washing and cutting approximately 100 berries a week.

This chic little berry bowl has been one of those why didn’t I have this sooner kitchen finds, and you guys have sold it out over and over for good reason! I rinse, prep + serve the berries right in it—and bonus, I’ll pop the whole thing straight into the fridge when we’re done. One less container, one less step, and somehow berry duty feels a little more elevated.

Comment SHOP and I’ll send you the link to the bowl + everything else in my kitchen. 🤍
Our working sink was one of the things we built the entire kitchen around. I knew I wanted something that could work hard for us—with multiple components for prepping, washing, drying and everything in between, through every phase of life in this home.

This one checked every box, but what really sold me was the design. It has all the function of a true workstation sink without looking overly utilitarian, with a timeless finish and quality that feels right at home in our kitchen.

One of those decisions I’d make again and again. Comment SHOP and I’ll send you everything you see here.
One of my favorite hours in the kitchen as the sun starting to set, dinner coming together, and getting everything ready for us all to gather around the table. There’s something about this time of day that makes home feel especially good. 🤍

My favorite find is back in stock! These are for anyone chasing the custom look without the custom quote…

These cushions are from Amazon, come in a huge range of sizes and patterns, arrived fast, and fit our kitchen seating perfectly. They instantly made the space feel more tailored while still being practical enough for everyday life. Andddd I just got red wine out of one of them, after spotting it in this video!

Comment SHOP and I’ll send you the link to the cushions and this space.

The striped chair of my dreams, and officially the piece that made this corner. Oversized in the best way, with plenty of room to curl up solo or cuddle in with my toddler (which is usually how you’ll find us).

And the new side table? The shape, the warm wood, the little bit of character it brings next to the stripe…it just works.

Both from @birchlane, bringing that collected, lived-in feeling I’m always after. Comment SHOP for links to the entire space!

All of my rejuvenation hardware.
I had to have this cheeky brass plaque, but now I can’t decide where it lives. I'd love to find a home near the bar without drilling into cabinets, but I also thought the Dutch door could be fun. However, it just barely fits...the front door feels odd as an exit as its a welcoming piece, and under the dinner bell might be brass overload. So—where would you put it? And ignore the shakes…too many last night!

There’s something about a space that quietly welcomes you in at the start of the day and helps you slow down before the end of it.

Our primary bathroom was designed to feel layered for real life: natural textures, timeless materials, thoughtful storage, and details that make everyday routines feel just a little more special. It’s proof that the most beautiful rooms aren’t just styled, they’re lived in.

If you’ve been asking where everything is from, comment SHOP and I’ll send you all of the sources straight to your inbox!
Turns out, I don’t have to go far to chase the sun…I just follow it through my house.

One of my favorite things about our home isn’t something I bought—it’s the way the light moves through it. Every afternoon, there’s a new corner that glows, and somehow it makes even the most ordinary moments feel a little more special.

My favorite weather for outdoor dinner parties is almost near!

You don’t need a huge budget to create a table that feels special. A few thoughtful pieces, good food, candlelight, and your favorite people are all it takes to turn an ordinary evening into one everyone remembers.

I rounded up affordable finds that look anything but, so you can host with ease and make every dinner feel a little more intentional.

Comment SHOP and I’ll send you every source you see here.
I truly believe the most beautiful homes aren’t built by sticking to one style, one store, or one price point.

Our home has investment pieces that I’ll hopefully pass down one day, vintage treasures with stories to tell, Facebook Marketplace finds, big-box favorites, and little details collected over time. To me, that’s what makes a home feel layered, lived in, and unmistakably yours.

As millennials, I think we’re redefining what “designer” looks like. It’s less about perfection or matching every finish and more about creating spaces that evolve with your life, reflect your story, and feel collected instead of copied.

So if you’ve ever wondered whether that antique works with your new sofa, or if a Target lamp belongs next to custom cabinetry… my answer is almost always yes.

Welcome to our home, I hope you stick around. 🤍

ad. One of my favorite parts of our kitchen renovation has been creating spaces that invite us to slow down and spend time together. 🤍

The Scrabble Studio Edition from @WSGameCompany has quickly become one of those pieces that makes the space. It looks like a beautiful coffee table book on our shelves, but opens into a fully playable Scrabble game with thoughtful details that are meant to be displayed, not hidden away. Keeping it within reach has made spontaneous family game nights even easier. We love functional decor around here, and this one is a 10/10.

Find it at @Target and comment SHOP if you'd like the link to bring one into your own home! Happy gaming & decorating!

We knew we wanted this space to work just as well for a house full of friends as it did for an ordinary Friday at 5.

By placing the bar just off the mudroom, it’s one of the first spaces we walk by when we come home. It makes hosting feel effortless as guests naturally gather here, drinks are easy to grab, and the kitchen stays a little less crowded. But honestly? We love it just as much on the quiet weekends. Walking in after a long week, setting down the work bag, opening a bottle of wine, and easing into the weekend has become one of our favorite little rituals.

If you’re planning a renovation, don’t overlook the spaces that support how you actually live. Comment SHOP and I’ll send you links to my entire outfit (I’m obsessed with this dress) along with sources for this space!

Did you catch one of my latest finds? These new coastal cushions are the chicest mix of pattern, texture, and that perfectly muted blue that feels collected rather than coastal cliché. They add just enough interest to make the whole space feel finished, and I truly can’t get enough of them.

Blue is basically a neutral around here… and this pillow is all the proof I need.

The pattern is timeless, the texture adds just the right amount of depth, and the size makes it easy to layer on a sofa, accent chair, bed, or bench. It’s one of those pieces that instantly makes a space feel more collected without trying too hard.

Not a blue person? You’re in luck, it comes in several other colors, too.

My little loves Halloween deeply, but when it comes to seasonal decor, I still want our home to feel timeless, collected, and like us. That’s exactly why I turned to @birchlane when planning this year’s decor.

I don’t believe you have to choose between creating Halloween magic for your kids and having a home you love. Instead, I recommend layering in heirloom-quality décor through the spaces you use every day—from festive breakfast moments and candy bowls by the door, to cozy candlelit corners and little surprises waiting to be discovered. It’s thoughtful, elevated, and still full of all the fun.

I love that Birch Lane’s classic style for joyful living makes it easy to find pieces that feel beautiful now, and are worth bringing out year after year. The quality is incredible, and every detail feels intentionally made for real homes and real family traditions.

If I’m being completely honest, I half regret this tile. But, there’s a lesson here.

Not because the peel-and-stick tile isn’t good. It actually exceeded my expectations. The quality is incredible, it looks like the real thing, and it did exactly what we needed while we save for a full mudroom renovation.

It confirmed that marble just isn’t the right fit for this space. Between sandy feet, muddy paws, and all four seasons being tracked through this door, it only takes a couple of days before it starts looking messy. And that’s not the first impression I want people to have when they walk into our home.

Honestly though, that’s exactly why I don’t regret doing it entirely. Instead of spending thousands on permanent marble, we spent a fraction of the cost and learned something really valuable before making a forever decision. That’s a win in my book.

When we eventually renovate this room, we’ll be going with brick tile instead and I feel so much more confident in that choice because of this little experiment.

That said, I would absolutely recommend this tile for a laundry room, bathroom, or other lower-traffic space. It’s beautiful, easy to install, and an amazing budget-friendly option.

A home doesn’t have to feel untouchable to be beautiful.

The spaces I love most are the ones that feel collected, layered, and actually lived in! The kind where fresh flowers wilt, cookbooks stay open on the counter, and every piece has a purpose. To me, that’s what makes a home truly wow-worthy.

Follow along as I share how I create spaces that are both elevated and livable. And if you’re curious about anything in my kitchen, comment SHOP and I’ll send all the details straight to your inbox.
There was a time when I thought the best investment was always the next trip, the next experience, or the next thing.

But the older I get, the more I realize that home is where so much of life actually happens. It’s where we start slow mornings, host the people we love, celebrate holidays, build routines, weather hard seasons, and make the ordinary feel a little more beautiful.

If you’ve been looking to refresh your own home to truly make it a place you want to come back to, I hope you stick around.

This was one thing I couldn’t wait to source.

When it came to our bar, I knew I wanted hardware that felt timeless, not trendy…like the bar was always here. By choosing this brand, I knew I wasn’t just investing in quality craftsmanship, but in the flexibility to mix and match styles while still creating a look that feels collected, cohesive, and designed to age beautifully over time.

It’s one of those decisions I’m grateful I didn’t compromise on. So, my answer is always I would choose this hardware again and again!

If you’ve been considering making the investment, I can honestly say it’s been worth every penny. Comment SHOP and I’ll send every source for this space straight to your inbox!
I gasped when I saw this sample of the best blue tone and thin stripe pattern! Every time I walk into this space, I am struck by its charm.

This is the winning window treatment combination. The timeless stripe and woven shade (with blackout options, might I add!) give that highly designed feel, for low effort. They are currently part of the up to 60% off sitewide sale with code MEG 🤍 Comment SHOP for links to both!
