I’ve never believed that having kids means waiting to have the home you really want. This kitchen was designed for both: the dinners, the dropped snacks, the constant coming and going, and the quiet mornings when I get to stand here with a cup of tea and appreciate every little detail we chose. Beautiful and lived-in were never opposites to me. If anything, I think the life happening inside a space is what makes good design feel even better. And yes, I still want the marble.
