Because I’m one of the crazy ones already in the attic pulling down Halloween decor, I thought I’d do a series of classic pieces I always use every year. Obviously the stores come out with new decor every year and I love to add to my collection but there are some pieces that just stand out year after year!

These light-up bat candlesticks are the first one. They’re so fun and I love pieces that make the house spooky at night as well. I paired them with my DIY ghost candles but there are so many fun Halloween candles you could use here.

I’ve been getting so many requests for this animated broom and honestly, it just makes me so happy that I’m not the only one to one ready to start thinking Halloween decor!! My jaw DROPPED when I saw this new gingham lamp! It’s just adorable and only $20! I decided I wanted to use it on my coffee table so I used my favorite trick to turn any lamp cordless—the lightbulb and remote set is less than $15 and works so well! The lightbulb clicks on and off the magnet base for charging.

Consider this my application to be your holiday decor guide! Halloween finds are starting to trickle in and I couldn’t be more excited.

DIY Flag Vase!🇺🇸 I’ve used mod podge to make vases with napkins but when I saw mod podge specifically made for fabric I wanted to try to make one using this blue and white striped fabric and an American flag and omg it couldn’t have been easier!

@Michaels is my one stop shop for everything floral so I was so excited to check out how they’ve totally refreshed their floral shop, including new UV greenery, amazing oversized florals and real touch flowers which seriously look and feel just like the real thing—but you don’t have to throw these out after a few days! I wanted to create a centerpiece using these new beautiful flowers so I grabbed some peonies, roses and hydrangeas from the collection and arranged them in this wavy vase, also new and so chic. Save this idea for Mother’s Day gifting and beyond! I cannot get enough fresh flowers these days and this is the perfect way to gift them!

I make two slits in the gift bag and thread ribbon through them and then use that to attach a paper cone (made using 5in x 5in square paper—I glued two pieces of craft paper together to make it double sided) and insert your fave flowers! I wrap bottom of the flowers with a wet paper towel and foil over that so they don’t wet the bag and they stay fresh!

The best part is that the receiver of the gift can easily take the flowers out and put them in a vase or display them in the paper cone!
