@Michaels is my one stop shop for everything floral so I was so excited to check out how they’ve totally refreshed their floral shop, including new UV greenery, amazing oversized florals and real touch flowers which seriously look and feel just like the real thing—but you don’t have to throw these out after a few days! I wanted to create a centerpiece using these new beautiful flowers so I grabbed some peonies, roses and hydrangeas from the collection and arranged them in this wavy vase, also new and so chic. I just love how it came out and can’t wait to shop more of their beautiful new selection. #michaelspartner

The new coastal collection at @michaelsstores is giving all of the summer vibes and this picnic basket is so adorable. It comes with flatware, plates, a corkscrew and the basket itself is insulated. I filled it with a picnic blanket, plates, cups, a candle and made a vase using striped napkins and mod podge as the final touch! Save this idea for Mother’s Day gifting and beyond! I cannot get enough fresh flowers these days and this is the perfect way to gift them!

I make two slits in the gift bag and thread ribbon through them and then use that to attach a paper cone (made using 5in x 5in square paper—I glued two pieces of craft paper together to make it double sided) and insert your fave flowers! I wrap bottom of the flowers with a wet paper towel and foil over that so they don’t wet the bag and they stay fresh!

The best part is that the receiver of the gift can easily take the flowers out and put them in a vase or display them in the paper cone!

I’m sure I’ve said this before but I really think this might be my favorite DIY I’ve done!! It’s SO easy, you just need a wreath frame and ribbon and I found the cutest two pack of Stars and Stripes ribbon on Amazon and OMG i just love how it came out! I cut about 18in ribbons and alternated tying them on the outer, middle and inner rings of the wreath form. 🇺🇸

HOW easy is this?! I used this bow trick a lot at Christmas but when I saw this absolutely adorable ribbon @Michaels I had an idea to do a layered version and it came out so well!

All you do is tape two butter knives (or another sturdy long object) to the edge of a table, about 6in apart, drape your ribbon over the top, fold it under and over the top again, cross the tails under the ribbon, bring one tail over the ribbon and tie the two tails together. Then fan out the layers and zhuzh it up!

I added my ribbon to a wreath I made with a pool noodle and hung it next to my fave new decor pieces (also from Michael’s!) I’m obsessed and can’t wait to try it with more ribbon!

The red white and blue decor so far this year is SO cute and when I saw these mini baseballs I thought they’d be perfect for a patriotic centerpiece! They worked perfectly with these red white and blue hydrangeas (my favorites, they are SO realistic).
