Reflections//

Exactly 21 days til 2021, but whose really counting?

I feel we can all agree this year has been very rough. Whether it be transitioning to wfh, keeping the kid(s) home from school, losing employment, not being able to see loved ones,
we all have at one point or another lost track of time.

For me, it’s been weirdly productive. I spent so much of my time playing “miss mama” and teaching my little Kinzosaurus things I never thought I’d have the patience for. I got back into reading and began journaling! I became better about my workout routine, albeit having one too many cheat meals a week 😏I genuinely think I understand myself better now than I did at the beginning of the year (do you feel that too?)

But just like that, in a blink of an eye, we’re about to close out the year.

Here’s to being kind to ourselves and bodies, today and always. Here’s to us pausing, breathing, and being content with where we are at.

Provence in California. I’ve come to terms with life being a bit more “quiet” in the sense of social distancing; I am the type of person who generally cannot sit still. I need to be doing something or another at all times.
