Friendly reminder: Just because I put on makeup doesn’t mean my chronic illness symptoms magically disappear. I may look healthy on the outside, but my body is fighting battles you can’t see every single day. The fatigue, pain, dizziness, brain fog, and countless other symptoms don’t clock out just because I look put together. One of the hardest parts of living with an invisible illness is when people don’t believe you’re actually sick because “you don’t look sick.” Social media is a highlight reel. You usually see the moments when I have enough energy to create content—not the days I’m stuck in bed, canceling plans, crying from pain, or simply trying to make it through the day. So if you know someone living with a chronic illness, chronic pain, autoimmune disease, or another invisible disability, choose kindness. Give grace. Believe them. You never know the battles someone is fighting behind the scenes. A little compassion goes a long way. 🤍 Thanks for coming to my TED Talk. 😂 LTKgrwm LTKootd LTKdayinmylife
