I forget how much I miss the sun until it actually comes out. It’s been snowy and quite gloomy this past week but it’s February and we’re in Canada so what do I really expect?

One of the best things we’ve ever done with the kids when we were traveling was the information we gave them ahead of time.

Before traveling, we read history books, travel guides, novels and do puzzles that pertain to the place we are going. They’re more invested, curious and believe it or not, more behaved when on the trip. They connect to the things around them and makes the whole trip more memorable for them even when they come back, trust me!!
