New hair tool for new, fresh hair. I dread straightening my hair but can’t go without it being straight. I’m always looking for something that doesn’t damage it, because let’s face it, that’s what heat does.

I forget how much I miss the sun until it actually comes out. It’s been snowy and quite gloomy this past week but it’s February and we’re in Canada so what do I really expect?

You know you’ve nurtured the value of experiences in your children when they beg you to buy a ticket for yourself to the @andreabocelliofficial concert in NYC. These kids know me so well.

It looks nothing like his but I’m sure it tastes just as good. This couscous panzanella is a hit in our house. Gives me all the Italian feels and is so easy to make like all @dolcevita recipes. One of the best things we’ve ever done with the kids when we were traveling was the information we gave them ahead of time.

Before traveling, we read history books, travel guides, novels and do puzzles that pertain to the place we are going. They’re more invested, curious and believe it or not, more behaved when on the trip. They connect to the things around them and makes the whole trip more memorable for them even when they come back, trust me!!
