From blank wall to dream coffee bar 🤍☕️

I know it’s been a little quiet over here, but so many of you have been asking for kitchen updates, so here’s a peek at our finished space. Our kitchen renovation is officially complete, even though we had a few appliance hiccups along the way. I also ordered two dining tables that both arrived damaged, so I’m pausing the search for now and just enjoying our home as it is.

This built in coffee bar features cream kitchen cabinets, polished gold hardware, fluted wood shelves, and a marble backsplash for a warm neutral kitchen aesthetic. It’s the perfect mix of functional design and timeless style.

Our Jura E6 coffee machine makes the best at home espresso and coffee, and our Skylight Calendar is a must have for family organization and daily routines in a busy household.

And here we are 💕. The girls have officially settled into their shared bedroom together and they love it. There were tears in the beginning, it was a hard transition. Both girls felt displaced and like we were taking something so valuable from them. But once I pieced together my vision for them and brought it all to life, that all changed. They now find comfort in being together and love their new bedding, sconces and bunk 🩷.

One thing I don’t talk about often is how I used to work at Nordstrom. I worked there about 15 years ago and loved my job so much. My favorite part was putting outfits together for family photos and events for each person in the family. I loved coordinating colors, as well as finding new and styles to complete each look. Reminiscing on when we put together my daughter’s big girl bedroom. I was 8 months pregnant when we completed it. The petal headboard is absolutely the focal point of the room, tying it all together with other rattan pieces such as her nightstands, wall decor and more.

This bedroom is soon going to be transformed yet, once again pretty soon to make room for the new baby we’ll be welcoming in February. This bedroom will accommodate both of my daughters and will include a bunk bed. Lots of shifts are going to be happening here soon.
