My Journey and Passion

Hi, I'm Neda
I've moved more than 10 times, traveled to 30 countries, and now call NYC home.I am a proud aunt x5.

As a Doctor of Pharmacy with 15 years of experience in regulatory affairs, my journey has been quite diverse. I worked for 6 years in retail pharmacy during my studies, gained experience in hospital settings, and interned at a pharmaceutical company. I've worked across large, mid-size, and small companies, completing a postdoctoral fellowship in regulatory affairs where I taught at St. John's University and worked at the FDA. I'm proud to have built and led my own team and mentored over 50 individuals.
I began creating content in 2017 to share my experiences and launched my blog, Basil & Turmeric, in 2019 as a creative outlet. In 2025, 1 took a step back to focus on my full-time role and embraced a slower, more intentional litestyle— baking einkorn sourdough, enjoying long walks, biking through the city, and practicing Pilates.

Here, I share clean-label products—whether it's beauty, food, or clothing—along with honest, science-backed career advice. I believe in aging gracefully and embracing everything that comes

I have been loving using @Everyday Dose you don’t get the jitters that you normally would with coffee I’m 39 and when I drink coffee, it sends me right to the restroom but drinking this it is gut friendly and honestly, it is such a great way to still get energy, but without the crazy jitters when I say this taste delicious it is absolutely incredible that it could be good for you and taste good all at the same time. It is so easy to prepare. You just use 1 tablespoon hot water and you can put in your choice of milk, but you don’t have to.

Did a try on at reformation the other day and bought this cute top. The shorts were nice too but I just got a similar pair from Aritzia.

If you’re looking for a dresser for your bedroom, I highly recommend this because it has deep drawers. It has six drawers in total and just the color and the hardware are absolutely beautiful and right now it’s on sale.

The material of the fabric is butter soft I’m wearing a size 6 in the leggings, but you can also go down a size. If you like your leggings to fit tighter, I prefer a looser fit not as much compression.

Duvet for bedroom. Bedroom refresh. I love this duvet because it makes me feel like I’m at a hotel. I have had it since December and absolutely love it. The fabric is such high-quality. It literally makes you feel like you’re wrapped in a five star duvet. It is also on sale right now so I would run and not walk to grab it because it’s definitely more on the expensive side but given that it’s on sale you definitely need to grab it.
