Day 6 of my 7-Day Solo Cruise, and the goal of the day was to soak up as much of the sun as possible! ☀️ It’s interesting how different each cruise is depending on the destination. I’ve been on an Alaska cruise where the vibe was very slow and casual on board, with most of my time spent on the balcony with binoculars watching the water for whales and in the spa. And I had an active excursion in every port, such as whale-watching on a boat, snorkeling, a train ride, and a helicopter ride to hike a glacier. I’ve also been on a European cruise where the ship was just a place to relax, eat dinner, and sleep because I was so exhausted from exploring all the different countries we visited during the day. I did a mix of cruise and private full-day excursions. Then there are the Caribbean cruises where the ship is the main focus, and I spend time in the pool, enjoying the nightlife, etc, and the port destinations are a bonus. Personally, my absolute favorite cruise has been the Alaska cruise, and I highly recommend it to everyone! Have you tried a cold-weather or European cruise? What were your thoughts??
