There’s something so satisfying about a really good command center.

Small pantry organization is all about making every inch count.

This pantry wasn’t necessarily disorganized when we arrived. Our client had already done a good job organizing with various bins, but something still wasn’t working. Her biggest struggle was keeping the counter clear while still having everything she needed accessible.

So instead of starting over, we reworked the pantry storage, made better use of the space (and bins) she had and created a system that finally gave her back that counter space.

Sometimes you don’t need MORE organization. You just need a better use of the space you have 💕

A pantry that stays organized has less to do with containers and more to do with good habits.

A few things we always suggest:

• Check your pantry before grocery shopping so you don’t buy what you already have.

• Create broad categories first (snacks, breakfast, baking, pasta) before micro categorizing (cookies, crackers, candy)

• Check expiration dates quarterly and toss anything that’s expired. Anything not being eaten, can be donated to a food pantry.

• Keep everyday food categories at eye level and move less frequently eaten/used categories higher up (such as baking)
