Real headboard requires power tools to install it so this paintable wallpaper with real grooves/dimension was the answer for me for easy install! It's paintable but I chose to leave it white (for now lol) & a lot of people questioned how it would hold up or if it would be easy to clean, etc. A magic eraser even took off the denim marks jeans left on it!
