As a designer, off the top of my head— here are 5 worthy home investments: 1. Plumbing fixtures… I’m partial to polished nickel and antique or living brass. 2. Bedding… I love the soft, classic, and relaxed look of linen, but I’d also include a great mattress and duvet / pillow inserts. 3. Reverse osmosis… or a bar tap for filtered water— even better if it dispenses hot water. Such a luxury! 4. Rugs… vintage, hand-knotted, wool, jute, etc (natural materials always). 5. Door hardware… heavy and substantial hardware that adds weight to your door or cabinet. I like a backplate with an interesting knob or pull. LTKHome
