If you’re feeling the heavy weight of everything right now, I just wanted to offer you a soft place to land on your feed. And honestly? The Practical Magic 2 trailer dropping today was exactly the kind of escapism I needed.

As an activist, I know the importance of staying informed and fighting the good fight. But as a mom, a wife, and a human being… I also know that we cannot work on empty.

My home is my sanctuary. It’s where I retreat when the noise gets too loud. It’s where I surround myself with the things I love—the slightly chaotic, beautiful, maximalist organized mess of it all. The stacks of books, the soft rugs, the warm lamps… it’s all intentional. It’s how I recharge. I am fully channeling the Owens sisters’ house right now, and I highly recommend it as a coping mechanism. 🌿🕯️

It is absolutely okay to turn off the news, light a candle, and just be for a minute.
