Today was a great day for momma and Lay! I felt super accomplished because I breastfed Layla in church while at my sister-in-law’s wedding rehearsal. But then I was too uncomfortable feeding her at the restaurant, so I fed her in the car. As I was feeding her in the car I thought, “why on earth am I feeding my daughter in the car?!” If she was bottle fed, I wouldn’t have fed her in the car. I’m not sure why I made the decision to go to the car, but I’m giving myself a pat on the back for doing it in church. Small accomplishments are still accomplishments, and I’m getting more comfortable each time I breastfeed her in public. Baby steps y’all! Do you breastfeed in public or prefer to be alone?
