Organize & declutter your shower! I finally got around to installing these yesterday and am happy with the clean look! I used extreme mounting tape instead of the glue that came with them. Linking a couple other styles of bottles too!

An easy aesthetic upgrade I like to make with any renovation is swapping out the outlets and switches for a screwless faceplate. IMO it’s a cleaner, more modern look that is one of those subtle enhancements to a space, like a new door handle. I feel like a paddle switch just looks better than a toggle switch, but maybe I’m a little crazy (it’s ok, I know I am 😂)!

You’ll need to get rectangular switches and outlets, which are sold online or at any major home improvement store. We always use @legrandna (not sponsored)! There are multiple options for colors as well if you don’t want to go the traditional white route.

For the sake of time I’m not showing you how to change the actual outlet/switch here- a quick YouTube search can show you that!

All you’ll need is a Philips screwdriver for this project. Once you’ve swapped out the outlet or switch, the black piece screws onto the outlet flanges and acts as the anchor for the faceplate. The faceplate just snaps on. Easy peasy!! (Also should specify - in the video I say “under $4 total”- that would be for what you see here. If you go fancy with USB ports and nightlights etc you’re obviously going to pay more!)

3 easy storage solutions for bathrooms!

Our 6.5x9’ primary bathroom is not exactly overflowing with storage space so I had to get creative. Built in medicine cabinets add SO much storage space. A simple basket stores TP rolls under the vanity (could also definitely sit on the toilet tank). And I LOVE this awesome towel rack I found, made by @duttonbrown, a MN company! (Not able to be tagged on LTK)

Other things we use not pictured here- lots of baskets organizing things inside our vanity, a lazy Susan for hair products, and a toothbrush holder for makeup brushes and tubes of makeup inside my medicine cabinet.

Just got back from a quick ski trip out west. We’re enjoying some apres ski at Beaver Creek in this pic!

Here are some of my essentials for ski gear! This jacket is SO warm, and bib snow pants are my new favorite thing- no more pants hiking up!

The ski roller bag fit two pairs of skis, poles, and some extra jackets and gear nicely. And my backpack was perfect for boots, helmet, etc!!

Durability is a must when shopping for a sofa as a pet owner!

3 things you want to look for:
1) performance fabric
2) removable and reversible cushions
3) easily reshapable cushions made from down or high quality down alternative materials

Our sofa is the Sullivan sectional from Maiden Home, upholstered in Performance Tweed in the color Oatmeal. It’s held up great in the 2.5 years we’ve had it. It resists stains and cleans up easily with vacuuming and water!
