This is such an unexpected fragrance, but I’m absolutely in love with it! It’s like nothing I’ve ever experienced before. The blend includes wormwood, pine, juniper, champaca flower, myrrh, birch tar, labdanum, cedar, Cade, frankincense, and palo santo. It’s the spookiest, sexiest scent ever.

As a side note: Heretic fragrances are all natural, made without toxic ingredients, and seek to bring ingredient transparency and luxury to clean fragrance blends.

They use only the best clean, top quality ingredients and yet, their fragrances are the only ones I’ve found in the natural niche that truly feel & smell like luxury level designer fragrances without the nasties.

There’s certainly power in positivity, but ignoring the dark aspects of yourself and life will only lead to a narrow, imbalanced perspective. That’s why ignoring negative thoughts or trying to suppress them doesn’t make them go away.

We are two halves of one whole self that is both light and dark. The shadow aspects of ourselves are usually not fun to face, but it’s vital to do the work to integrate these aspects into our whole self.

Some of my dark aspects include emotional eating, isolationism, trust issues that lead me to assume the worst of everyone, and a tendency to push myself beyond healthy limits that can often end up with me over working myself or trying to “do it all” and then having a meltdown.

@tataharperskincare regenerating cleanser is a gentle, but effective cleanser for budding off dead skin cells while the rest of these are great for hydration and repair!

@joshrosebrook hydration accelerator is a favorite face mist as it’s hydrating, soothing and packed with skin nutrients.

@tataharperskincare repairative moisturizer is perfect for cooler weather because it deeply moisturizes skin without feeling heavy or oily.

@koraorganics Nono eye oil works well to protect and lock in moisture under my eyes without being heavy or breaking me out. The roller ball makes application super easy as well!

@herbivorebotanicals emerald oil is soothing and boosts your glow with the help of organic hemp oil. It’s lovely to use; the only thing I really don’t love is that it’s lost its scent and the color has lightened in only a few month’s time. You would think they would put this in darker glass so the ingredients don’t break down, but I digress.

I’m pretty obsessed with the @pacificabeauty concealer - the coverage is phenomenal with brightening & a great finish that doesn’t feel heavy or overly “made up.”

@gressaskin serum foundation needs no introduction in this page as it’s long been my holy grail foundation, but just in case you’re late to the party, it’s an oil based foundation with medium coverage made in a based of plant oils and essences, namely broccoli seed oil which helps fight everything from acne to fine lines. It’s amazing & nothing has beaten it so far in my book!

Last but not least is @iliabeauty limitless lash mascara - I know it includes some synthetics, but it’s gentle enough for my allergy prone and sensitive eyeballs, plus the wand separates & lifts like an absolute dream so... 💁🏻‍♀️ What products are on your most used list this week?

Sadly, I’m not a fan of this one. http://liketk.it/2FTvI It smells fresh in the tube and the ingredients are pretty clean, but at the end of a long day when it’s 90F outside, I was smelly and that was pretty disgusting lol. That said, I have friends who live in cooler climates who love this one so if you don’t live in a super hot place, this may work for you. What’s your favorite clean deodorant?

Today I wanted to share my latest concealer love affair with @pacificabeauty Liquid Cover Full Coverage Concealer!

Not only is this concealer affordable, but the applicator is super easy to use, CF & vegan, and very effective at covering up and brightening my dark circles ( #winning! 😛 ) so I don’t look so dead.
.
.
The concealer is available in 12 shades, only costs $13 and is infused with awesome plant ingredients such as coconut water, alpine rose, iris, seaweed & hyaluronic acid.
.
.
Formulated without silicone, mineral oil, parabens, talc or phthalates. The only ingredient I don’t like is phenoxyethanol, but for this being super affordable and working so well, I’ll deal with it until I find a better alternative.

Their concealer is, hands down, the best illuminating concealer I’ve ever tried. It has the perfect consistency for all skin types, including more mature/dry skin types!

The Atmosphere Soft Focus Foundation is infused with antioxidant rich botanicals like frankincense, tulsi, and lotus! Its definitely more on the dewy finish side of things with a light/medium coverage. I love that it’s skincare/makeup because multipurpose products are my personal favorite.

Last but not least, the Elixir Plumping Lip Gloss in Vivid lends a beautiful sheer pink with hints of copper shimmer and Mezmerize Eye Color in Flash is a subtle, but gorgeous natural taupe that’s as easy to wear as breathing.

The ingredients are clean and natural, including 6 active plant Botanicals such as avocado, meadow foam, red raspberry, jojoba, green tea seed, and rosehip oils!

Not only is the formula soothing, but it’s also nourishing and hydrating. If you want a more hydrating version of the Gressa Serum Foundation, this is it! My only complaint with this one is that it can be oily if you use too much and maybe cause breakouts for some. Used sparingly, it offers great natural, medium coverage! I think dry skin types will definitely love it. If you have oily or acne prone skin, try the Gressa one instead.
