I have been like obsessed with my bedroom recently. Haven’t even really changed anything big (I painted the walls a year ago and have been doing minor tweaks since) but it’s feeling so good. Maybe it takes a while to get used to a new space to feel truly comfortable with it. I’m so grateful that I get to sleep here, walk-through here on a sunny afternoon, and have this beautiful place for my fun antique light fixture or whatever my new favorite bedding is. ❤️🙏

I found this vintage crystal-ey semi flush mount light scrunched up in a printer paper box at my favorite antique store and I carefully hung the strings back on, but I finally rounded up some similar ones available new, at different price points.

1, 2, or 3? I loved the big dresser, but it didn’t reeeally fit and I was afraid it was denting the wall. The little antique dresser is more of a standard nightstand size, but now it feels so small! Do you think next to the bed or centered on the wall looks better?
Either way note that king size beds need more than a standard little nightstand!

I’ve worked so much on my bedroom in the past few months but still wore old target t shirts to bed. Pretty room deserves pretty pajamas, right?? I have always been a fan of classic white bedding, but when all you have is a duvet cover and some sheets it is just boring. I’ve been slowly working on adding color and interest to this room, so I love the fun aqua and ruffles of this duvet cover set! Super affordable too. Linen is just the greatest for bedding. I had a really lovely birthday weekend of wine tasting and good food, and I’m taking tomorrow off work to try to sleep in and do something relaxing! The extra time and energy away from work has me thinking about projects. I’m finally inspired to re-decorate this bedroom. Seems like must-do after a divorce, right? I’m thinking new headboard, lamps, bedding, and art. What can you picture??

Bought my 6th vintage Turkish rug last night and I am pumped. They’re addictive. ~$120 for a 5x8 or $250 for a 7x10, free fast shipping, natural fiber, no shedding, indestructible and hide stains… oh, plus, they make any room look cooler!! Right?! Have you tried swapping a modern rug for a vintage one?
The one I ordered for my dining room is also sort of beige, but I swear it’s different. I linked a few great options from Etsy in this post!

Also, I picked this dresser up at a lovely home outside of town and they had goats they wanted to show the kids. Nice memory associated with this piece now!
