Target is fine sometimes to hold you over but it rarely feels like the real thing. Curtains and window treatments can be overwhelming. Just do one room at a time! I debated a long time about how to replace the too-short, too narrow Target velvet blackout curtains but what I ended up with is sooo much better. I did a natural Roman shade for the blackout function (it’s super effective) and these gorgeous pleated Belgian linen curtains which I leave open. Feels so luxe!
