Do you remember at least a month ago when I showed you the train diffuser I got and said I had great plans for it? Well it took a little longer than expected but my version of the Polar Express has finally come to life! I also created the wintery scene backdrop in the vintage suitcase. The kitchen is Christmas ready! This year, I replaced the red accents with deep green to coordinate with the winter wonderland theme in the living room. It is a cohesive look from room to room and I am enjoying the peacefulness that it brings.

Here is another area where I continued the Winter Wonderland theme. It is a credenza or side board that has many uses. For this season, it is set up as a bar for special holiday drinks. I am looking forward to sharing those drinks with you soon.

After years of experimenting with this room, I think I finally got it right. It is the perfect blend of cozy, warmth, peace and sparkle.

The key factor is the 15 foot Balsam Hill narrow fir tree, roaring 20's glamorous ornaments and cherished treasures I have collected or made thru the years.

Some of my treasures are the old sleigh, gold bells and reindeer painting I did a few years ago.
