From the moment I can remember fashion has ran through my veins. My mom told me once when I was little that I was a trendsetter. I never knew what it meant, only that I knew what I liked and if I liked it, I wore it. It’s exactly how I felt when I bought this sweater coat and these booties. Both purchased at least eight years ago. I knew that these were both investments but I also knew that they were classic and timeless. I first saw these booties on @emilyschuman many many years ago, before instagram was a thing. I followed her blog religiously then and now. I couldn’t stop thinking about these shoes after I saw her wear them. Lucky me I found them at a steep discount at a local boutique that was going out of business. I felt like I scored big. My fashion icons include Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, Rebecca Minkoff and blogger Emily Schuman.
