Well, the new laundry room floor is done! And because I was so sad to say goodbye to the gorgeous colors and pattern of the old floor, I had to at least add an interesting rug to the new floor.

I stumbled upon this Smartcore product at Lowe's and am so glad I did! We floated this luxury vinyl rigid core tile right over the old tiles. The install was SUPER fast and easy. And y'all, this stuff is 100% waterproof 😱 You can literally soak a piece in a bucket of water overnight and it won't absorb anything.

As much as I will miss the old floor, I have no doubt this is FAR more durable and should hold up beautifully for Y E A R S and Y E A R S.
