Now that he’s mobile, I bought this reflective vest with LED flashers on the front and back for extra peace of mind when we go for walks around the neighborhood or at the park. After searching for *months* for a bookshelf that was both functional for our space (could fit behind A’s bedroom door) and aesthetic, I think I finally found it! I ordered two of these wall-mounted bookshelves and installed them one on top of the other to fit our mountain of books, and I love how it turned out! $15 to wrap my 📺 border with washi tape felt like a lot less of a commitment than a $500 custom tv frame, and I think it turned out pretty great!

We are very strict about screen time, not just for kids - but also for adults! We try not to use our phones when we’re around our baby, and this is a fun way to help keep ourselves in check. Using the phone box is nice bc it doesn’t feel like a punishment, just a place to put our phones to have them “out of sight, out of mind,” and break that nasty habit of being bored for one minute and then absentmindedly picking up our phones. 😅 We like to “invite” each other to put our phones in the box after work and have a little digital detox/device-free time and it works really well for us!
