Tomorrow. Tomorrow is finally Friday ❤️ This week was harder than most in almost every aspect of the job and life. On Friday’s though— every single Friday… no matter how bananas the week was (and this week was BANANAS🍌), my team, my class, and I have a slow start to the day, and eat “breakfast” together. Sometimes they want to play games on their computer, or connect 4, or talk so fast with excitement about something none of the adults have ever heard of and I can’t even make sense of what words are leaving their mouth, but we’re bonding. We are together, enjoying the simple things for some and the most needed things for others, acceptance. Acceptance that life is hard and the week felt like it would never end, but at the end of the week, we still belong, we learned something, and we still matter… no matter what has happened… and what most likely will happen next week.
