Come with me to Ladies’ Day at Ascot 🐎 Ascot Thursday is one of the absolute highlights of my years. Ladies’ Day is a day of fashion, food, friends and of course - horses. We were in the Veranda Restaurant in the Royal Enclosure, so the dress code is as strict as they come. But nothing a @needleandthreadlondon dress and a hat from @viviensheriff can’t handle. I was a little worried as my dress was quite a lot, and my hat wasn’t subtle either, that it easily could have been a bit much. So trying them both together the night before the event was a fingers crossed kind of moment. I always say that one of the reasons I moved to the UK from Sweden was because of the hats. Needle and Thread hosted a lovely sit-down lunch before the races started. It’s the perfect mix of air conditioning (it was a scorcher!) and the perfect view of the finish line.
