Where did the last 2 years ago?! I can’t believe Wyatt will be 3 in a few months, and yes we’re still rocking the crib. I can’t imagine life without 2 babies in 2 cribs, and giving Wyatt full reign, but I know we need to make the switch for her sooner than later. I’ve never been big into New Years Resolutions but I’m definitely feeling it for 2022.

Per usual, goal #1 will be to start eating healthier and working out consistently, and goal #2 not get every.single.cold that goes through the house 😳. I’m planning on trying this whole macro counting thing. Has anyone tried it? I’d love to hear some other healthy resolutions! Until then, enjoy all the wine and leftovers you can handle.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted this but here is a nice immune boosting smoothie!

1 cup cashews (soaked in hot water for 30 mins)
2 carrots
1 naval orange
1/4 cup orange juice
2 cups fresh pineapple
1 banana tumeric

It doesn’t take much for me to get an idea in my head and just completely run with it, no matter what other things are going on. So I got the idea before Christmas that this playroom/office needed to be completed, and here it is. However just like every interior project I have, I never feel like it’s actually done....I’m still working on wrapping up Wyatt’s room...8 months later. ⁣

So far this playroom has been absolutely amazing! I can work on my laptop when she’s playing, and shut the door when I don’t feel like cleaning up the mess. ⁣

I’ve always heard that babies change everything but I never really understood what that meant until this little girl came along. They are the best thing that could ever happen to you but man are they hard!

I feel like at 6 months we are now at a really good spot but the first couple months were a little rough. My best advice to mamas to be or those thinking about having a baby is to take lots of naps and watch every single show on Netflix 😂.

Anyone else a product junkie like me? Whether it’s baby gear, skin care products, or supplements, I only want the best and most efficient. This is when my ocd kicks in overdrive, and I end up spending way too much time researching things like.... what type of taurine should be in baby formula 🤦🏼‍♀️. Please send help.

Before I had Wyatt, I was determined to be efficient as possible with my baby and postnatal gear. I didn’t (still don’t) want my entire house to be filled with baby stuff that only lasted 2 months. Happy Labor Day!!! Totally feeling more like fall today and totally starting my diet tomorrow (3rd times a charm?). Wyatt’s favorite toys usual entail bright colors, crinkle noises, and maybe a mirror here and there. So when I introduced her to Lola the Llama here, I didn’t think it was going to do much for her. To my surprise, it was like love at first sight for her and now they are besties. 😂

If you haven’t heard of them, Cuddle + kind is an amazing company! For every doll they sell, they give 10 meals to children in need. They are made with high quality cotton so it’s supperrr soft and cuddly. They are also handcrafted by women in Peru, providing them with fair trade income.

Something else to note is that this toy is NONTOXIC! This is very important to me because Wyatt put just about everything in her mouth, so I don’t have to worry about what kind of foreign materials or chemicals might be imbedded, like I do with other toys.

I’m super excited to be working on some local interior projects! One thing that makes a huge difference in a room is pillows. No you may never use them a whole lot but they can really transform a room or give a nice pop of color!

We are finally rounding the corner of starting solids and I can only imagine all of the new messes we are about to encounter. Wyatt just turned 4 months and things have never been better - she’s sleeping through the night and is super giggly (the best noise ever!). I’m still in such shock that my little newborn is now 4 months!
