When I originally posted how I assembled and what I planted in these planters, the questions and opinions poured in!

I planned to plant the hydrangeas in my garden once I was ready to switch my planters up for fall. I could’ve tried winterizing them but I knew I’d want to put something in these planters for the holidays.

The hydrangeas have been planted in the garden and now I’m ready to source some fall plants soon! 🌾

Who doesn’t love a little before and after?! First photo is the after, second is the before l. Changing out the faucet was not just a cosmetic decision for me but also a functional one. The new brass faucet adds warmth but also brightness to my kitchen.

The old faucet didn’t quite reach the corners of my sink and didn’t have a powerful sprayer to rinse out well. The new one checks both boxes!

After the 4th of July holiday is usually when I give my garden a reset and my petunias are no exception. They start to look tired and “leggy”. That means the foliage is sparse and clustered on the ends.

I cut mine back about a third of the way, fertilize and water. This will help bring your petunias back fuller and live longer through the season.

Use clean clippers when cutting back to prevent spreading disease.

I wanted to share the update on how it turned out. Just as anticipated, fuller and healthy looking.
