Studying the Bible helps me every day. I love that mine has four different translations side by side. When I need to understand certain words or parts, I can quickly switch over to another translation on the same page instead of looking it up in my phone. Definitely a great resource with which to study and understand the Word! There’s nothing like having a physical Bible, and this one is under 50 dollars!

The glitter every crafter needs in their kit for ornament making! This comes from Michael’s and is so beautiful. Make sure to get the extra fine version for a look like this, but know that there are chunky and standard versions if you prefer. Take a look at all the other colors too and get creative! I am using the shatterproof ornaments, but Michael’s has glass ones too. Make a ton of beautiful New Year’s ornaments and pop them on your tree for a few days. So gorgeous to look at!

Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin bronzer is so nice! My favorite is still the Airbrush Flawless, but this one is too different to compare. It’s got a creamy and silky feel, an it blends really well. Comes in the same four shades as the Airbrush, so it covers a wide range of skin tones. This is one you’ll use for a long time, and a primary staple of your makeup kit. Way worth it!

I’m a makeup artist, and one thing I’ll always focus on is smooth, natural looking foundation. My biggest tip for this is to mix either a moisturizer or beauty oil to mix with your liquid or cream foundation.

It doesn’t have to be a lot, just a drop. But I promise, a little goes a long way and it makes your foundation glide and blend seamlessly with your skin.

The brush you use is also important, I like to use something dense that you can stipple onto the skin.

Slow your mornings down and try making your coffee by hand at home. Less plastic, less waste and more opportunity to customize your drink. 💙 I use a French press a kitchen scale from Amazon, and I use a ratio of 40 grams of coffee to 6 or 700 grams of water. Heat the water, pour it over the coffee and put the lid on. After about 4 2, press the top down. I make my own creamer with a bit of half and half plus brown sugar. Whisk it up an pour in your coffee. Done! Delaying your coffee a bit in the morning is good for you, I promise! If you love to create things, I think a Cricut is the perfect addition to your life. It’s a cutting machine that helps you make SO many things at home. Things like puzzles, boxes, ornaments, t shirts and more. You’ll be able to personalize virtually anything, and there’s something super calming about using this machine. There’s so much to choose from in Cricut’s collection, but I love the Maker. It’s the model that allows you the most flexibility in regard to what you can make. The Explore series is awesome too, it was my first machine and I loved creating with it! I suggest buying a starter kit of sorts, so you can start creating immediately. Nothing’s more annoying than having to order tons of little things just to get started. Imagine being able to make custom stockings, handcrafted gifts, labels and more from home, with your personal touch. I’ll link to a kit that will get you started immediately! My favorite makeup look is a minimal one. A dash of foundation, bronzer all over, a cream blush and lip balm. It’s legit all I need to feel put together. A go to look for sure. Charlotte Tilbury has the most impressive shade range for every skin tone. I love that I can use it for both my clients and myself. ❤️

Wondering what you can actually make with your Cricut? Here’s something to create that’s fun and fairly easy. I made a cake topper out of premium cardstock, glossy photo and acetate papers.

I layered the cardstock on top of an acetate sheet, it’s food safe and therefore can sit on top of the frosting. To build up the shapes and make them 3D, I used adhesive foam dots in between each layer.

The Cricut print then cut feature opens up an entire world of possibilities, you just need an inkjet printer to use it. The Canon Pixma line of printers is an amazing one to use along with the Cricut. A bit of an investment, but you will be able to make so many things in your home to save money over time.

I have and love the the Cricut Maker 4, it’s exactly what I need to make so many projects and products. Custom t shirts, stencils, artisan ornaments and these cake toppers, plus so much more that I haven’t even discovered yet. Let me teach you how to make a cake infinitely more interesting in just a few steps.

First, bake your cake layers in a sheet pan and cut them out with cake circles. Such a great way to dirty less pans and streamline your process. The Fat Daddio professional sheet pans are the very best for this method. Linking them here. ♥️

Next, divide your batter into a few different bowls and use a separate color in each. Dollop them onto your sheet and then use a kitchen knife to swirl all the colors together. When you cut the cake, there’ll be the most gorgeous and interesting marbled pattern in it. It takes a little more time, but it’s worth it to wow your guests at your party or event. ✨
