I’ve always wanted to be the house that hosts. The kind of home where people gather, stay a little too long, and always feel welcome. I’ve spent years saving dinner party inspiration, following hosts I admire, and imagining all the gatherings I’d love to create someday. Recently, one of my Instagram besties (@myflourishinghome) hosted the most beautiful Ina Garten-inspired dinner party, and watching, wishing I could be there gave me the little push I needed to finally explore something I’ve always loved and admired. So, while I learn how to properly plan and host my own dinner parties, I’m starting Sunday at Casa Cardinal, a monthly visual dinner party where I’ll dream up the table, menu, drinks, music, outfit, and all the little details in between.
