All of our peonies and roses and irises are in full bloom and I’m basically beside myself with happiness. Scott and I built this deck and he designed and constructed the patios on either side a couple years ago and we use these spaces even more than we’d hoped we would. Which makes all the literal blood, sweat, and tears sooooo worth it. I think I only cried once, when a cement mixer toppled over on me after a long day of pouring concrete footings in 100 degree heat.
