i finally gave the viral dot cakes a try… and patriotic edition might be my favorite 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙
they’re surprisingly easy, so satisfying to make, and would be so cute for a 4th of july party, summer bbq, pool day, or holiday dessert table. ✨

here is the exact steps i did!

✨ bake your favorite boxed cake mix according to the package directions and let it cool completely.

✨ take a small mason jar and turn it upside down. Press the opening of the jar into the cake to cut out a circle. When you lift it up, the cake should already be sitting inside the jar.

✨ add a scoop of vanilla frosting. I used an ice cream scoop to make it quick and easy.

✨ spread the frosting into an even layer with an offset spatula or butter knife.

✨ dip the top into red, white & blue sprinkles until completely covered.

✨ repeat with additional layers if you’d like, or keep them as single-layer cakes.

that’s it! such a fun and easy 4th of july dessert ❤️🤍💙

p.s. i popped mine in the fridge before serving and thought they were even better cold!

🍓 Summer Strawberry S’mores Dip

Ingredients:
• Cooking spray
• 1 bag chocolate chips
• Fresh strawberries, diced
• Mini chocolate chips (optional)
• Star marshmallows
• Graham crackers for serving

Directions:

1. Lightly spray your baking dish.
2. Add a layer of chocolate chips to the bottom.
3. Top with diced strawberries.
4. Sprinkle mini chocolate chips over the strawberries (optional but delicious).
5. Arrange the star marshmallows on top.
6. Bake at 350° until the chocolate is melted and the marshmallows are soft.
7. Turn the oven to broil for 1-2 minutes to toast the tops golden brown.

⚠️ Watch closely while broiling! Marshmallows can go from perfectly golden to burnt very quickly.

Serve warm with graham crackers and enjoy!

here’s the recipe for my 3 ingredient no bake 4th of july dip 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙
BASE INGREDIENTS: ✨ 1 tub Philadelphia Cheesecake Dip ✨ 1 tub Cool Whip ✨ small amount of heat-treated Funfetti cake mix
OPTIONAL ADD-INS: ✨ patriotic sprinkles ✨ mini marshmallows
HOW TO HEAT TREAT THE CAKE MIX: spread a small amount of cake mix on a baking sheet and bake at 350°F for about 10 minutes. let cool completely before adding to the dip ✨
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. blend together the cheesecake dip + small amount of heat-treated Funfetti cake mix
2. fold in the Cool Whip
3. fold in sprinkles + mini marshmallows if desired
4. top with extra patriotic sprinkles and serve chilled ❤️🤍💙
DIPPER IDEAS: strawberries, marshmallows, vanilla wafers, graham crackers, teddy grahams, waffle cones, pretzels, etc ✨
NOTE: this makes a LOT, so you can easily half the recipe for a smaller group 👏

here’s the viral marshmallow popcorn recipe 🍿🇺🇸

this one is messy, sticky, and SO good 😂 definitely best eaten fresh while it’s still soft + gooey 🤍

RECIPE:

• 1 stick butter
• 1 bag jumbo marshmallows
• 1/2 cup funfetti cake mix
• 2 tsp vanilla extract
• pinch of salt
• 1 bag popped popcorn
• red, white & blue sprinkles

melt butter + marshmallows together on low heat. stir in cake mix, vanilla, and salt until smooth.

pour over popcorn and mix well. add sprinkles while still warm 🍿
